Dr. Juan C. Alvarez is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement. He earned his medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine, then completed his general surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Known as Dr. Bikini Hip® and the originator of the EZ Knee®, he also offers orthobiologic and regenerative treatments, including platelet-rich plasma.
